Coffee makes us happier for a few reasons:
Coffee stimulates dopamine release. Dopamine produces the positive feelings that are often associated with that "first sip feeling" of your morning coffee.
Studies show that coffee drinkers are 20 percent less likely to become depressed, and 53 percent less likely to die by suicide.
Coffee is a sociable act. Meeting up with friends over coffee is a great way to socialize with others. When we are with the people we love and care about, we are happier.
Obviously, our pets make us happy!
Animal and human interaction has been shown to decrease cortisol levels, which is a stress-related hormone. Additional studies found that animals can reduce feelings of loneliness while boosting your mood and perception of social support.
The increasing popularity of animal therapy is backed by scientific studies that show relief from anxiety and loneliness. There are many types of animals that can help soothe fear and anxiety among people of all ages!
In one particular study, a group of adults who identified as “stressed out” were asked to pet a live rabbit and turtle, or their toy forms. The study found petting the toys to have no effect while stroking a live animal regardless of its texture brought anxiety relief. The results help true for individuals who reported having a general liking or disliking of animals prior to the study.
All in all, combining pets and coffee together is a recipe for full happiness.

We all know how important it is to incorporate social time into our day (and no, that doesn't mean social media!), but did you know that your dog also needs plenty of social activities?
How about a delicious cup of coffee and a cuddly puppy? These are two immediate solutions to a bad day, and it’s not a mystery why! Science has proven that coffee and dogs can naturally increase dopamine in your body, which is a neurotransmitter released in your brain when you feel pleasure or happiness.
