It serves coffee and pastries, allows customers to bring their dogs, and hosts adoption events and fundraisers for furry friends to find them forever home. Boris & Horton was founded by Coppy Holzman and Logan Mikhly, who have experience in charity and dog adoption positions.
Boris & Horton is a dog-friendly cafe where customers can bring their four-legged friends, and others can work or study amongst them. Before visiting, remember that all dogs must be dog and people-friendly to keep a friendly and safe environment.
It is also unnecessary to bring a dog if you don’t have one; Boris & Horton hosts many adoption events that make it possible to grab a coffee and enjoy some time with these furry friends.
Dog cafes are usually created to house and shelter dogs that can be up for adoption. They are accessible to the public and offer different ways to sign up and attend. Some dog cafes charge a cover fee per person to participate for a particular time, while others allow you to follow and grab a snack or drink for a one-time price.
Boris & Horton is different and is free to enter and bring your furry friend along. The dogs inside the cafe are all customers’ pets that come in and roam around while they grab a coffee, study, or work from our shop!

Some requirements to keep a safe and friendly environment are having all dogs be dog- and people-friendly and having all their vaccinations per the NYC law. Since dogs are all off-leash as well, monitoring kids when they come in and keeping an eye on your pets is essential!
